 Our first store originally opened in Chillicothe,
Missouri, when Ken & Brenda Lauhoff went into the jewelry business in 1976.
During that time, they raised three children and are
now active with six grandchildren.
Their son, Darren, and his wife, Angie, opened a
Trenton, Missouri, store in 2000. In 2010, Ken and Brenda decided to retire
from the jewelry business, and Darren and Angie became the
new proprietors of the Chillicothe, Missouri, location as
well.
 In
2011, the store underwent a total remodel inside and out.
Our grand
reopening was held on October 28, 2011 with a Chamber
ribbon cutting, refreshments, and a BBQ.
Darren and Angie have two
children, Jared and Olivia. Darren is an active member of the Chillicothe
Elks Lodge, Trenton Rotary, both the Chillicothe
and Trenton
Area Chambers of Commerce, and has served on the board of North
Central Missouri College.
Lauhoff Jewelry is a member
of the Jewelers of
America, Retail
Jewelers Organization (RJO), American
Gem Trade Association (AGTA), and the Missouri
Jewelers Association.
Darren also serves on the
board of the Missouri
Jewelers Association. Like most wives and working mothers, Angie is
the glue that holds it all together!
Darren and
Angie both feel that it is extremely important to have an educated
and motivated team. To do that, they take their team with
them when attending jewelry shows, seminars, and meetings. The
entire Lauhoff team is very active in the Chillicothe
community!! They assist with many fundraising events,
including the annual Women's Domestic Violence Shelter
Auction.
The Chillicothe
store is open Tuesday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturday
from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.. The Trenton location is open
Tuesday-Friday, 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00
a.m.-4:00 p.m.. Both locations are closed Sundays and Mondays. Lauhoff
Jewelry & Gifts is a family tradition in Chillicothe and
Trenton, Missouri.
